Park Hill Congregational Church is fortunate to have many excellent musicians who provide music for our worship.  In addition to the many resident singers and instrumentalists who worship at PHCC, we are blessed to have visiting musicians who provide music on a periodic basis.

Mosaic Youth Chorus is Denver's chorus for GLBTQ/Questioning youth and their straight friends, ages 14-20. They are directed by Kendall Bridges. The Mosaic Youth Chorus performs at Park Hill Congregational Church at least once per year. 

The Polite Jazz Quartet is an annual favorite on the Sunday before Mardi Gras. Robert Karow coined the term “polite jazz” from the term “polite bebop”, a term applied to groups of the post bebop era, such as The George Shearing Quintet and The Modern Jazz Quartet, among others.

The Polite Jazz Quartet consisting of Robert Karow, Vibraphone, Page Taylor, Piano, Jack McCutchan, Drums/Percussion and Dennis Ecton, Acoustic Bass, has performed at such venues as: The Capitol Hill People’s Fair, The Fourth Story Restaurant and Bar, Strings Restaurant, St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral, The Downtown Fairmont Hotel, The Denver Botanic Gardens, City Park Pavilion, Richie Center at the University of Denver, and for corporate functions, for birthday and other parties in private homes, to name a few.

 

Sine Nomine

The Here's Love Praise Dancers have been worshipping and praising God in dance together since 2000. They began their dance ministry together at The Christian Corps International. The group consists of two blood sisters, Denise Thornton and Dawn Woods. Denise also dances with African Dance Troops, trains at Cleo Parker Robinson dance studio and performs throughout Colorado. Dawn is a dancer and singer and currently sings with the Grand Design Chorale and has performed extensively with choirs and praise teams.
