What a wonderful way to end the summer music season this past Sunday! Jock and Sid sang and played the special music and offertory. How fun to have Lloyd back with us. He, Faye, Sid and Jock led the communion music, the Mark Hayes composition, "Namaste"..Special Sunday, all the way around.

September 8th -- Wednesday night at 6PM - my house. A simple meal ( I will provide burgers and attendees are asked to bring a dessert, appetizer or side dish), preview of the fall music and FELLOWSHIP (priceless) It is not too late to decide to come. All are welcome.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th

Welcome back, Sanctuary Choir! The choir will be singing one of the anthems presented at this last summer's UCC Musicians Conference. We also welcome back the Here's Love Praise Dancers. The Here's Love Praise Dancers have been worshipping and praising God in dance together since 2000. They began their dance ministry together at The Christian Corps International. The group consists of two blood sisters, Denise Thornton and Dawn Woods. Denise also dances with African Dance Troops, trains at Cleo Parker Robinson dance studio and performs throughout Colorado. Dawn is a dancer and singer and currently sings with the Grand Design Chorale and has performed extensively with choirs and praise teams.

The offertory will feature our choir, soloists, instrumentalists and you, the congregation. We will be singing and playing a simple, but lovely arrangement of that favorite spiritual, "We are Climbing Jacob's Ladder."
