Community Service and Outreach at Park Hill Congreational Church

Park Hill Church members and friends staff the food and clothing bank at Denver Urban Ministries, on the second and fifth Saturdays of each month, 9 am - noon. DenUM is located at 1717 E. Colfax Ave, Denver. This is an activity where more helpers are always welcome. Just come join the group.

Volunteers cook and serve dinner for Senior Support Services on the third Thursday of each month.

A group gathers on the first Wednesday of each month, 6 pm - 8 pm, to prepare meals for Project Angel Heart.

We schedule an annual outing to glean produce from area farms that is distributed to metro food banks through the COMPA Food Ministry. This activity usually happens one Saturday in September or October (the date varies year-by-year and with the weather).

We also work with other congregations and Habitat for Humanity to build homes in partnership with families with limited income.

Quarterly, we help host homeless families at a neighboring church through the Interfaith Hospitality Network. Schedule for 2005: Feb 6-13, May 8-15, Aug 14-21, Nov 20-27.
